I’m an ENFP and resonated with this question. It was really interesting to hear that it might be Te making me feel like I have to process things Right Now, before getting back to practical matters.
I’ve also found the enneagram useful with this. I’m a 4, and one of the ideas in Chestnut & Paes’ book – to borrow from 3’s focus on the to-do list – is helping me find a bit more emotional balance. Another example of the ennegram’s prescription chiming with that from Myers-Briggs!
