In this episode of the Personality Hacker podcast, Joel and Antonia step back from type theory to reflect on the journey of creating 600 episodes. In an unfiltered, behind-the-scenes conversation, they explore what the podcast has meant to them, how it’s shaped their identities, and what might be next.

Hello,
Congrats and thank you for 600 episodes!
I have been there for a good 6/7 years and went back to listen to earlier episodes. I think I skipped maybe 3 or 4. I have never watched the video podcast.
I don’t really have notes on the content except maybe that I liked when it was more freeform. I like that it is long probably because I listen doing manual tasks like gardening or home renovations. I think weekly is alright.
I take the opportunity of your episodiversary to tell you something I’ve been thinking about listening to the last few episodes.
You make a lot of sense about AI. However I feel like you are missing a big premise : our planet is finite.
There isn’t enough metal resources to build the AI/robotics world you describe. Especially with the redundancies that would be needed to absorbed the damage of the increasing number of natural catastrophes (because climate change).
A good indicator is that the space exploration vibe is being renewed by bigtech (even if they succeed, the resource they could potentially find won’t be nearly enough…).
Also there isn’t enough energy renewable or not to sustainably fuel such a world.
In my opinion the AI revolution is already there but it will end up partial.
It will either benefit a small portion of the population (on the back of the others) or only specific uses (who is gonna choose and how!?).
My fear is that in an effort to build this global all AI world, we loose the ability to do some things the other way before it collapses because we denied it wasn’t possible to sustain… It would be a waste.
Thanks again for all of your work

Hi! Congrats on making it to 600. I’ve been listening on and off since 2016. I haven’t been listening as much in recent years, but what you discussed here about breathing new life into the podcast sounds enticing. I would unironically enjoy an interpretive dance episode haha.
I tend to prefer the exploratory conversations over the teaching style ones. And moving in a more narrative direction sounds like a great idea. The episodes where Antonia talks about her family are some of my favorites, and I’ve always been curious to hear Joel’s story.
Looking forward to future episodes.
600 podcasts is a phenomenal achievement. Congratulations to you both for your incredible perseverance and commitment. I honestly don’t know how you keep coming up with fresh ideas. It’s mind-blowing! I have personally benefitted from so much of your wisdom. I also admire your desire to keep learning and challenging yourselves to somehow embed this incredible theory in your daily practices. So, what next? I love the idea of you following personal narratives. Brene Brown always asks her interviewees “What’s your story?” I love that. Following other people’s stories about how their own personalities emerged and evolved and how they get to be the people they are now would be fascinating. It’s never a straight line, we all tumble around and try to work it out. I wish you all the very best and I know I will continue to learn from you both. Take care.
Hi! Best fit type is INFJ – but I must be the only one blind to narcissists!
I started following y’all when you analyzed the Greek Gods/Goddesses archetypes. Not from the beginning, but for many years now!
I want you to know that I have gotten so much value from this podcast. I have purchased my owners manual and hope to afford one or more event-based products in the future. Until then, I’m here for whatever you have. Because of your podcast, I’ve been able to dive into my own shadow work and am currently changing my life.
I’ve always loved personality systems, but you two have opened new doors for me in their utility.
I love the length and frequency you have right now.
I like the idea of moving into a more narrative frame. There is power in stories and storytelling. I firmly believe that.
Hi both, I have just started listening to this podcaste.. and even this early in I have just got to let you guys know that THIS podcast is why the work you do is so powerful. In this podcast you are so utterly unpretentious and real. This is one of your secret powers! In a world full of pretence, especially at times, the personal development industry, you guys are so no bullshit. And it is this that keeps bringing back. Likewise, in a highly polarised world, you guys bring richness and nuance every single time. Thank so much, Ian
