YES! I was just coming here to suggest the same thing! What does each function look like as it moves further down the stack…that would be fascinating!
The song I hear when I think about shadow work is Tool’s Forty-Six & 2
When my soul has no voice, it talks to me through my song choices.
After listening to this episode, I now understand why “Headlights” by Tor Miller has been on repeat.
A line of the lyrics – “Headlights, casting my shadow, on the clouds behind me, darkening all that defines me.”
Yeh… This should have been a giveaway.
I didn’t put it together until now.
Almost immediately after this realisation I changed my soundtrack (literally and figuratively).
I would love to hear a podcast series on what each of the 8 functions looks like in each of Bebe’s archetypes – particularly 5-8 since PH already has a lot of content on each type’s 1-4. Really enjoyed this podcast! Fascinating!
Im on a type journey and I am curious if using the 5-8th function is a good way to find a best fit type. Have people had good results from this?
Also- I am a bit confused about the idea of conscious functions- aren’t 1st and 4th also unconscious?
