I do believe myself to be a fairly self-aware INFJ. However, this is me more often than I’d like to admit. My emotional response is often totally disproportionate to a situation indeed. I believe that letting myself feel too much makes me vulnerable and often deflates a lot of my energy, so I often just glance over feelings without fully acknowledging them and letting them pass. This has caused a bit of damage in my relationships with others and also with trusting myself in my relationships with others (as well as with myself). Being an INFJ I already deal with feeling distant from others or “misunderstood”, so this increases the difficulties of building relationships even further.

I would love to hear a podcast on how INFJs can allow themselves to be vulnerable in a healthy way without depleting their (positive/healthy) energy.

    Thanks! Love this podcast!

Thanks for the comment Joan! We have a few options open to you. Here are a couple articles that could get you started:

We also have a type verification process in which you can talk to us on the phone and we can help you figure out your type. Here is that product:

You can also look up both types in the Search bar of our website. We have multiple articles and podcasts on them individually and you might find something that resonates with you. Let me know if you have any more questions. :)

Thanks for being a PH podcast listener!
