Well said, through and through.
Thanks for the feedback, Lilly! I’m so glad we have managed to renew your faith in personality typology. Personality typing is a soft science, just like psychology and all those other social sciences. Unfortunately, there is a lot of in-fighting between the various scientific communities because everyone likes to think they do science better (check out this podcast to understand why: http://www.personalityhacker.com/podcast-episode-0069-tribal-leadership/). When in truth, we all bring benefits to humanity. Getting to know yourself and figuring out how to work with your strengths is incredibly valuable. Please feel free to explore our website for more information on the INTP personality type. We also have a YouTube Video specifically about INTPs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsJNX_AgKP4.
Cheers!
Charis
Thanks for this. I am an INTP and the lack of apparent factual basis for Meyers Briggs has caused me to completely drop all connection with it a couple times. I strive to be a rational person and I used to struggle with the concept of Meyers Briggs because it is almost completely disregarded by most psychologists and researchers. This podcast has helped to validate my interest in it.
