This is great. The Bible refers to this as “in all things give thanks for that is the will of God concerning you” You have given this verse clarification , application and an expanded context in its understanding and its use in negative or difficult moments. The key is “in the moment” and not “for the moment”. We are grateful “in” the moment of a car crash that we are alive. We are often not expected to be grateful “for” the car crash. Thanks so much for your video on this. It is awesome wisdom that I have gained.
Excellent advice. I’m one of your female INTJ’s. I have always used the more broad reaching approach to maintaining an attitude of gratitude that you spoke of. However your technique of honing in and becoming more precise and present with that state of gratitude makes perfect sense. This will be very beneficial as my husband lacks the ability to communicate and is in a perpetual state of rage. I suspect he is a ESFP.
Keep up the great work.
I used to start my weekly meetings in the morning, going around and saying something we were individually thankful for in the moment. I could feel the thankful sigh that started the meeting continue throughout until the end, leaving us feeling refreshed after the meeting. Even though we centered the meeting around problem solving and negativity (due to the nature of our jobs) beginning with “hey, thank you” set the tone for us to remain in harmony. It also kept negative emotions from dominating the meetings. It is difficult to measure but if you were there you would feel the difference. Thanks for this video! It’s a great reminded to continue in thankfulness.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment Aura.
Thanks Kimberly for the feedback.
