  • Beatrice’s experiences as an Enneagram expert diving deeper into Myers-Briggs® at our Profiler Training live event.
  • How does Beatrice initially think the two systems may correspond?
  • The complexities of matching up the two systems – and why this isn’t simply a 1-1 correlation.
  • What was it like for Beatrice to be profiled live on stage?
  • The additional insight Beatrice gained through understanding her Myers-Briggs® type at a deeper level.
  • What are some more challenges of merging the two systems?
  • How do some of the enneagram types initially seem to match up with the cognitive function descriptions?
  • The correspondences Joel and Antonia have found between their Myers-Briggs® and Enneagram types.
  • Why is it possible that the two systems match up more closely in their “prescription” than in their “description”?
  • How the instinctual variations of the Enneagram types bring additional nuance.
  • Diving deeper into how the systems align – plus how the functions lower in our stack could align with our Enneagram type.
  • A note on finding growth paths – the power of discovering your type in both systems.

I’m INTJ. It took me some time to get to that. I took a few tests and then read a couple of books to confirm. I’ve tried the Enneagram twice and I haven’t read up on it yet. So I’m not as familiar. However, I did have Enneagram 5 with a wing 4 as a result. The profile on 5 seems to really fit me well. It also seems your theory, not proven yet, but the theory of Ni and 5 might have some truth to it. I’ll probably check out your material on Enneagram 5 later. I’m still going through INTx unleash material.

INFJ here (100% sure on that): Love your content; I’ve learned so much from y’all! I am deeply interested in personal growth, especially when it comes to understanding people and how the mind works.

Taking quite some time understanding the Enneagram, I resonated most with the 9. However, I felt that the 9, 4 & 1 VERY closely resonated with me and maybe combine to explain how my introverted-intuition works.

My mate and best friend is an ENFP. The 2, 6, & 7 seemed to resonate for her.

My ex (of 17 years) is an ISFJ, she is a resounding 2/3.

This was a great podcast! It’s been a while since I’ve listened and commented. I really enjoyed hearing you guys spin off one another. :) I like the puzzle piece of seeing how so many layers in each of the two systems color into one’s type. As an INFJ and Enneagram 9. I have many thoughts on how these two types flavor my unique personality. Many ah-ha moments here for me lol.

Thanks for that. As a fellow 9, I enjoyed every minute of reading your essay. I’m not sure yet but my best fit MBTI type would be ENTP and I always want to comment but know it will end up 10pages long comments… ;)

Really liked that podcast too! As always, you are a lot of help on my path to know myself more !
This topic was on point since I’m in the middle of Dr Chestnut’s book 27 Enneagram types (on your recommendation :P) and discovering what it means to be a SO9 and the implications on my understanding of my relationship with Harmony. Or maybe the fact that I’m an ENFP or
    something totally different after all…

I have the INTP MBTI type with a 9w8 enneagram type. I have been diving into both the enneagram and MBTI. I liked this episode as this is what I am looking into myself, the correlations between the two types.
I feel more confident no my research of both types. More than anything I like to figure out not only of who I am but how other people think and act based on their personality type.
