I really love this series. Thank you Joel and Antonia for recording it and providing it for free.
I feel the whole topic of the state of your nervous system and how it influences how you feel on a daily basis is not talked about enough.
It took me a long time in my anxiety journey to figure out I was, like you said in this episode, always tense in the shoulders, head and neck and i didnt even notice it. But I noticed the headaches every few days, where I now know it was basically my nervous system trying to get my attention.
Through understanding that my nervous system was mostly unregulated and that the way to relief was basically me training my reactions down, soothing my body, that helped me so much.
You also gain a sense of control over you and your life when training this and noticing how your body gets calmer, because of something YOU are doing.
Maybe this motivates someone :)
In Conclusion:
This whole episode had me just going: YES, YES, YES!
